Dermatologists with specific skills acquire to treat common conditions such as skin cancer and acne.  Nowadays cosmetic service techniques such as facial fillers and chemical peels help to modify or improve the appearance of a physical feature.

Session 2. Cosmetology & Trichology: Cosmetology is the branch of dermatology which deals with beauty treatment. Cosmetologists are the professionals who are trained and licensed to perform cosmetic treatments to the hair, skin, and nails. The disciplines of cosmetology consist of various occupations like hairstylist and hairdresser, beautician, skin care specialist, aesthetician, nail technician, etc. Trichology is a specialized branch of medicine that deals with the scientific study of the health of hair and scalp and the diseases related to them. Problems may include baldness, scaling of the scalp, itching, scalp eczema and psoriasis, premature greying, hair loss, hair breakage, hair damage, hair thinning, seborrhea dermatitis, head lice, dandruff, dryness and oiliness.

Session 3. The Science behind Human Beauty: It's said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," but recent scientific research suggests that human attractiveness is much more objective than we once thought, deeply rooted in our biology and evolutionary history. For instance, facial symmetry is considered extremely attractive because it indicates good health and nutrition during the formative developmental years.

Session 4. Green Cosmetology: The Current Trends: Clean and green beauty products have already been making waves among consumers. But in 2018, we’ll be paying attention to the ingredients of the packaging itself. Environment friendly, biodegradable packaging is becoming easier to find, and its availability will continue to increase.

Session 5. Cosmetic Gynecology: Over time, age and events such as pregnancy and birth can affect the internal and external structure of the vagina, causing changes in both its appearance and physical response to stimulus. Cosmetic gynecology aims to make improvements to either the physical appearance or function of the vagina and labia. The results of cosmetic gynecology can improve the enjoyment of sexual activities, while also rejuvenating the genitals to make the body appear younger or more aesthetically-pleasing.

Session 6. Skin Grafting and Associated ComplicationA major challenge of transplantation is avoiding rejection of the transplanted organ or tissue by the recipient’s body due to any form of immunogenic response. During allogeneic transplantation, the immune system of the recipient recognizes the graft as a foreign component. It then makes every effort to destroy it in the same way as it would, for example, destroy an infecting virus. Nowadays physicians administer immunosuppressive drugs to make the recipient’s immune system more tolerant to avoid rejection.

Session 7. Cosmetic/ Plastic Surgeries: Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty which implicates the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. The two categories are reconstructive surgery and aesthetic surgery. The spectrum of plastic surgery is very wide.

Session 8. Genodermatoses: Genetics of Skin: Genodermatoses consign to an inherited skin disorder associated with structure and function. Several genodermatoses present with multisystem involvement lead to increased morbidity and mortality. Genetic research centres resolute on identifying the molecular basis of such outrageous skin diseases with recessive inheritance.

Session 9. Neoplasms of the Skin: Primary neoplastic disease of the skin is common. Early recognition of such lesions is important because complete excision will cure almost all cases of skin cancer if performed in the early stages. A presumptive diagnosis can often be made by considering the patient's risk factors, the history of the lesion and its location, appearance and texture. The definitive diagnosis is made by histologic examination of biopsy specimens.

Session 10. Healing Skin Disorders: Skin disorders differ greatly in symptoms and severity. They can be temporary or permanent, painless or painful. These skin disorders may be situational causes genetic. It can be minor, while others can be life-threatening. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease characterized by patches of abnormal skin which can be long-lasting.  Improvements in psoriasis therapies over the past decade have changed the way this disease is treated and managed, including increased use of biologic therapies, which are protein-based drugs made from living cells. Melanoma is a form of skin cancer that arises from the pigment containing cells known as melanocytes. The primary source of melanoma is ultraviolet light (UV) exposure in those with low levels of skin pigment. The UV light may be from the sun or other sources, such as tanning devices. About 25% develop from moles.

Session 11. Present and Future of Cosmetics  Industry Experts: Cosmetics have been an essential part of human cultures for thousands of years, but today the cosmetics industry rakes in over 50 billion dollars each year.  The industry has undoubtedly come a long way from the copper and lead ore that the ancient Egyptians used to create the most primitive forms of makeup.  Indeed, each year companies offer more scientifically advanced products due to developments in technology, ingredients, and formulas. It is important to understand the history of makeup to really be able to appreciate industry trends of today and the outlook for future trends.
