Biography

Dr. K. Pani Prasad has 24 years of experience as a Professor, researcher, scientist, extension and administration worker in areas of aquatic animal health especially in areas of development and use of disease diagnostics and control. He has developed different immunodiagnostic kits for rapid and sensitive diagnosis of fish and shrimp diseases. He has published around 70 scientific papers, completed 10 research projects and Conducted 20 training programmes in different aspects of Aquatic animal health for stakeholders, farmers, teachers, trainers and students. Currently he is working as a principal scientist at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, India. His research focus on aquatic animal health, immunology, rapid diagnostics.
