Biography

Hristo Bozukov has a PhD from the University of Agriculture in Plovdiv. He has been working at the Tobacco and Tobacco Products Institute (TTPI) since 1984. In January 2002 he was appointed Head of Department “Agrotechnics and plant protection” and in March the same year he was elected member of the Scientific Council at the TTPI. In January 2006 he was promoted to Deputy-Director of TTPI and since August 2009 he has been at the position of Director of TTPI. From 2013 to 2015, Prof. Bozukov is the President of the Agricultural Academy of Bulgaria. Hristo Bozukov has published over 110 scientific, applied science articles and reports, six guidelines, manuals and methodical handbooks. His scientific works have been cited more than 90 times, of which 46 times by foreign authors. He has three certificates for innovations and three research works implemented in practice.
