Dr. Weixia Zhang received his B. S. and M. S. in Chemistry from the Tsinghua University, one of the topmost universities in China, in 2005 and 2008, respectively, and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Purdue University in 2014. After that, he joined the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University, where he is currently a Research Associate. His research interests span a wide range of topics in Chemistry, Materials Sciences and Engineering, including organic synthesis, self-assembly, polymer chemistry, sensors, synthesis and biomedical applications of functional nanomaterials, and microfluidics. He has published more than 25 papers in highly reputed international journals, holds several U.S. patents, and has been invited to write review articles in the field. He has been serving as a reviewer for many reputed international journals in the fields of chemistry and materials science, including Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Communications, Small, etc. He is also on the reviewer panel of several journals.
