Biography

Emanuel Guariglia was born in Agropoli (Italy), on January 01, 1982. He is an adjunct professor of Calculus and Statistics at the University of Bologna (Italy). Emanuel Guariglia received a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Salerno in 2017 with a dissertation on the fractional derivative of zeta functions. His investigation on the fractional calculus of meromorphic functions allowed him to win the Best Student Award at the ICNPAA 2016 World Congress for the scientific paper titled 'A functional derivative for the Riemann zeta fractional derivative'. Apart from fractional calculus, his research interests include fractal geometry, applied functional analysis, wavelet analysis, analytic number theory, signal processing, and dynamical systems. To date, he has published over 15 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at many international conferences. Currently, he is the Editor of several scientific journals.
