Biography

Dr. Dickson Adom is a hardworking researcher in Biodiversity Conservation and Environmental Studies. He undertakes studies in International Conventions related to Biodiversity Conservation, Protected Areas and Ecosystem Management through Community Involvement Approaches and Strategies, Development of Biodiversity Conservation Strategies, Ecotourism Development. He has authored a total of 62 publications with over 30 papers, book chapters and reports in Environmental Science. He had the world championship 2018 award in Ecosystem Conservation. He serves as a reviewer and editorial member for the journals like International Journal of Biodiversity and Conservation, Asian Journal of Environment & Ecology, Asian Journal of Research in Agriculture and Forestry, Journal of Scientific Research and Reports, Asian Journal of Agricultural Extension, Economics & Sociology, Journal of Agriculture and Ecology Research International, Journal of Experimental Agriculture International, African Journal of Microbiology Research, Journal of Horticulture and Forestry, Advances in Research, Journal of Ecology and the Natural Environment, Journal of Biology and Nature, Journal of Geography, Environment and Earth Science International, Current Journal of Applied Science and Technology, Asian Journal of Advanced Research and Reports, Asian Journal of Research in Zoology and others. He is with the Department of Educational Innovations in Science and Technology of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana.


Research Interest

He is an expert in the use of Traditional Knowledge Systems and cultural anthropology issues in enhancing the conservation of the environment and its rich biological diversities.
