Biography

Pavel Hristov Zehtindjiev is Professor in Institute of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Research, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He has 7 Memberships in organizations like European Ornithologist’s Union, Bulgarian Ornithological Society, Bulgarian Society for Protection of Birds, Bird Life partner in Bulgaria, Bulgarian National Society of Naturalists and others. He have been working in the field of avian biology since 1993. His major research interest is seasonal migration as a tool for the study of microevolution of birds. He have also worked on the fauna, reintroduction and ecology of endangered and rare bird species. The main focus of his research is on the microevolution of birds. He has published many journals and articles.
