Biography

With a bachelor degree in food engineering, she has been involved in studies of bioprocessing and membrane separation processes. She studied the characterization of metal membranes for use in membrane distillation in the European Institute of Membranes (IEM) and worked at Falconi, Consultants for Results, developing tools to improve process quality and management system of institutions and enterprises of various segments. Currently doing a joint phD in UNICAMP (Brazil) and in the European Institute of Membranes - IEM (Universite de Montpellier II), her work involves the study of the reutilization of brewer spent yeast, the second most relevant by-product from the brewing industry, through protein hydrolysis and protein fractionation by membrane processes.

Research Interest

Her field of interest are mainly: bioprocesses, biotechnology, food and process engineering and waste and by-products valorization.
