Biography

Dr. Omid Akbarzadeh has strong conceptual and analytical skills that were refined during his years in scientific research and Industry. He has the ability to approach problems from unusual perspectives, often proposing innovative solutions and fresh perspectives in well-established areas, as illustrated by his contributions to the field of chemical engineering. He thrives in an environment where the approach required to achieve his goals is non-obvious, striving to bring clarity and definition to areas that are as yet vaguely defined. His exposure to the group research officers, engineers, scientists of laboratory and industry gave him valuable experience on how to credibly and convincing present arguments to senior decision makers (up to GEC level) while he has shown in his role as the chemical engineer that he can steer a diverse community towards a common goal. His skills and experience would amongst others find application in the areas of chemical engineering industries, research & development, technology management, intellectual property management, corporate strategy development, and competitor analysis.
