Biography

Dr. Mauricio Baptista is a Medical Oncologist, with M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences/ Breast Medical Oncology. He has both research and clinical experiences. In USA, he spent a year (2005) as a research scholar at MD Anderson Cancer Center. In Brazil, he was the director of the fellowship program and the PI of the Dept. of clinical trials of one of the largest Cancer Centers of the country (2006-2007); an assistant professor of medicine at the Dept. of Medical Oncology (2009-2013). Since 2011, he is an Associate Attending Physician at Centro Clinico Oncologico, Division of Cancer Treatment, in Campinas, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He has 15 years of practice, with special interest in Immuno-oncology, Breast and GYN tumors, Biomarkers, GU cancers and Lung cancer. He has published several articles and is a member of several international oncology societies. He is currently an Editorial Board Member of three Cancer Journals.
