Biography

Dr Wong Siong Sung is Consultant Cardiologist at National University Heart Centre Singapore. He is subspecialized in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI. He is one of the pioneers in the establishment of the quantification of myocardial blood flow and coronary flow reserve using SPECT imaging technique in Singapore. This technique is to be of great importance to patient’s management and carries a significant prognostic value. Dr Wong did his advanced fellowship training in Nuclear Cardiology at Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital, London, United Kingdom and University College Hospital, London, UK. His advanced fellowship training in Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI took place at Royal Brompton Hospital, London, United Kingdom. He has interpreted numerous number of cases in the field of Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular MRI. He always has great interest to integrate multi-modality imaging to provide better care to the patients.
