Research Interest

Chemistry and biological exploration of various class of chalcones.  Synthesis of and pharmacological exploration of heterocyclic nucleus such as benzimidazole, thiadiazole, pyrimidine, furan, pyrazoline and thiazole etc.  CNS depressant, anticonvulsant, anticancer, antioxidant, antitubercular activity.  Design of MAO, Acetylcholinesterase and Hsp90 inhibitors.  Microwave assisted synthesis.  Structural elucidation of organic molecules by IR, NMR and MASS (mass fragmentation pattern) technique.  Molecular docking, Dynamics, Pharmacophore mapping, 3D-QSAR studies.  Isolation of natural secondary metabolites from medicinal plant and their in silico studies.
