Biography

Iam the academic member of university of Tehran, Iran. My educationalbackground is in the discipline of geography particularly in GenderGeography and rural planning. Meanwhile I am working in aninterdisciplinary filed, including Environmental and social sciences.My work is focused on applying Gender analysis and local communityengagement in rural development. Also I have worked on gender anddevelopment for many years and I have published some books andarticles on this subject. I have been in York University on2013-2014, 2015-2016, and 2017-18 as a visitor scholar. Currently Iam working on Renewable Energy initiative to be part of the movementof Renewable energy extension in the word and establish thecomprehensive and integrated plan to challenge with global changingand extend the renewable energy programs, particularly in ruralareas. So I am founding a Center called “institution ofsustainable Rural development and Renewable energy “ inuniversity of Tehran. Ihave published 7 books and more than 60 papers in national andinternational journals. Also I have thought related courses in Ph.D,MA and BA in Tehran, Alzahra and Tarbiat modares Universities. Also Iam a member of the International Renewable energy Academy and memberof the association of Iranian intellectual women.
