Biography

A professional environmental researcher/scientist and natural resource manager with significant international experience of 24 years (as of 10th December 2017) in: Research & Development (R & D); Management; Consultancy; Sustainable Development; In the participation and education of stakeholders. Supported by an applied background in subjects - ecology, environmental engineering, environmental science, remote sensing and GIS. Related to terrestrial, marine, and coastal environment. Extensive experience in planning and management of environmental projects, nationally and internationally. Many years of experience in setting up monitoring programs, data handling as well as evaluation of data for pollutants in the environment. Specialist in application of Remote Sensing studies. Significant experience in preparation of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental management plans and course tutor and instructor in EIA. Experience from Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM).
