Biography

Fabrizio, ophtalmologist at Istituto Auxologico Italiano in Milan (Italy), has been working in surgical and clinical ophthalmology for over 15 years. He received his clinical training in Ophthalmology in two prestigious institutions, the University Vita-Salute, Scientific Institute San Raffaele (Milan, Italy) and the Department of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School (Boston, Massachusetts, USA). His principal area of clinical, surgical and laboratory research is focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, hereditary retinal diseases, intravitreal drug therapy. He participated in relevant international clinical trials and laboratory investigations covering comprensive retinale topics. Also he has been a speaker or co-author at both national and international conferences. He is currently member of Societa oftalmologica Italiana.
