Research Interest

The design and synthesis of new inorganic substrate, organo-mineral material, with potential applications in catalysis and material science. Synthesis of zeotype materials with an emphasis on their applications, in catalysis and in separation processes. Study of Clay- polymer and clay -surfactant binding phenomena and their applications; Solubilization and adsorption at the solid liquid interface; Phase separation and gel formation in concentrated clay-polymer and clay-surfactant system; Aggregation phenomena in aqueous and polymer system. Valorization of industrial by-products as pozzolans in concrete or as asdorbents. Micro and nanostructural characterization of cement and cementitious hydration products.
