Biography

Born and raised in China, Dr. Ge-Zerbe is the oldest daughter of a civil engineer and a financial expert/entrepreneur. She inherited her parents’ interests in painting, calligraphy, music, reading, math and travel. She built on those talents and followed in her grandfather’s foot steps to become a doctor. Dr. Ge-Zerbe underwent advanced education and training in Epidemiology and Molecular Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and the National Institutes of Health after medical school before starting her clinical medicine career. After completing her fellowship at Vanderbilt University (where the grandfather of Endocrinology in this country, Dr. Grand Little, practiced), she joined a multi-specialty group in North Carolina with three other endocrinologists. In 2007, she moved to the beautiful state of Idaho with her family, where she picked up her new passion for gardening at her home near her office.
