Biography

Pamela Durant has over 20 years of experience in hospital and clinic management with a focus on strategy and quality. Shortly after completing a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, the first focused healthcare management degree in the US, she moved to Istanbul, Turkey. In Istanbul, she held key healthcare positions as a consultant and clinic manager leading to her role as the Special Projects Manager at the American Hospital of Istanbul where she created the proposal to help the Hospital to achieve IFC funding, developed Outpatient Clinic Strategies and created Quality & Risk Management systems that enabled the hospital to achieve its first JCI Accreditation. She also managed what was one of the largest plastic surgery clinics in Turkey at the time.
