Biography

M. A. Martin Luengo (MAML) graduated in chemistry at the Autonoma University of Madrid (UAM, Spain). In the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, Spain), MAML presented her Master work on oxidation catalysts and her phD on palladium supported catalysts, both with honours and the highest qualification.As a postdoctoral grant holder of the CSIC MAML worked in catalysts characterization in the University of Brunel in England and then in the University of Louvain la Neuve in Belgium. Afterwards MAML was granted a Fellowship IA to work with the Scientific Engineering Research Council (UK) on Fischer Tropsch processes towards preparation of fuels from synthesis gas avoiding non-renewable resources. In 1992 MAML gained a permanent position of Research Scientist in the CSIC of Spain, where MAML has been working since.
