Biography

Dr K. Raveendran graduated from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. He did his orthopaedic training at the University of Malaya, St. George’s Hospital, London and Walton Hospital, Liverpool. He obtained his March Orth from the University of Liverpool. He returned to Malaysia to serve as a lecturer at the University of Malaya and later moved to Ipoh to be in private practice at Fatimah Hospital where he is still practising.

Research Interest

Dr Raveendran developed an early interest in sports medicine. He was a member of the first sports medicine travelling fellowship to the United States in 1988. He has also been the Godfather leading a team of sports medicine travelling fellows in 2006 again to the United States.
