Biography

VG Frokjaer is an MD, PhD (2008) from University of Medicine Copenhagen, Denmark. She runs an independent line of research in Imaging Psychiatry. Her main interest is brain architecture of risk for neuropsychiatric disorders and how such insights translate to protect mental and cognitive health. She is an expert in experimental and clinical psychoneuroendocrinology, steroid hormone dynamics, serotonergic brain biology, and molecular and functional human brain imaging. She has published 68 papers.
