Biography

Nizar Asadi qualified in medicine at the University of Bologna in Italy in 2006 and completed his training in thoracic surgery in Italy and in UK. Since then he has held positions at Great Ormond Street Hospital and in 2017 he was appointed as a consultant thoracic surgeon at The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is a Consultant thoracic surgeon specialist in minimally invasive thoracic surgery. He is an educational supervisor and member of the junior doctors recruitment panel at Harefield hospital. He is leading multiple quality improvement projects and chairing the ERAS project at Harefield Hospital. He is highly interested in digitalization the NHS and currently completing the NHS digital pioneer fellowship at Digital Health London.
