Biography

Dr. Ahmed Abdul Fazal did B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) during 1983; M.F.Sc. (Master of Fisheries Science) during 1985 and Ph.D. in Fish Processing Technology in the year 1994 from the prestigious College of Fisheries, Mangalore (the first Fisheries College of our country), under University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He perceived post-doctoral higher training on Molecular Biology, at Central Institute of Fisheries Education (Deemed University of Fisheries), Mumbai in the year 2004. Presently he is Professor and Head, Department of Food Sciences & Technology, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. Previously he had also worked in different Agricultural Universities such as University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore; Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa (Bihar), University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad and University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur. He has been serving in teaching, research and extension for more than 30 years.
