Biography

Prof. Abou-Taleb has experience in the field of food science and technology and fish processing since 1987 and to date, particularly in handling of fish and seafood, evaluation and assessment of the suitability of the marine food products for human consumption, and health affairs and quality control in factories of fish and seafood. He contributed to and participated in the creation and establishment of laboratory and specialty fish processing technology for NIOF. Provides consultancy in the administrative fields of quality management systems and environmental and food safety, technical consultations, training, auditing, inspection and upgrading the management system of servicing and industrial establishments which met the requirements of the international standards ISO 22000 and HACCP, Product Certification and Total Quality Management System (TQM). Participated in various global and regional conferences, lectures, seminars, workshops and meetings. He carried out the presidency of many scientific committees. Supervision of many MSc and PhD theses.
