Biography

Zichen Zhao is deputy director at Peking University Shougang Hospital, China. From 2015 to 2016, he completed the postdoctoral simulation fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School and the senior fellowship in surgical simulation at the University of Washington School of Medicine. During his fellowship, he participated in the 3D printed prostate model project as one of the core members and published articles; composed a chapter Endoscopic Training/ Simulation for the 4th edition of Smiths Textbook of Endourology. After graduating from the Peking University Health Science Center, he worked as a urologist at the Peking University Shougang Hospital WuJiePing Urology Center.

Research Interest

Zichen has engaged in simulator-based medical education and training since 2010, and has organized and participated in dozens of urological endoscopic skills simulation training courses in China.
