Biography

Lars-peter Kamolz has studied medicine in Vienna, Austria and knowledge and communication management in krems, Austria. He is a board certified plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgeon and he was the head of the Vienna burn centre and coordinator of the Vienna skin bank, general hospital of Vienna, medical university of Vienna from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012 he was the section head of the section of plastic. Since May 2012 Lars-peter Kamolz is the professor and head of the division of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, department of surgery, medical university of Graz. He is member of the editorial board of different international journals like burns, burn care and research and annals of plastic surgery. Moreover, he is president of the abuse, member of the executive board of the European burn association and treasurer of the Austrian society of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
