Biography

Timothy Low is currently the head of medical affairs Asia Pacific at shire. He was awarded 2018 rare disease champion provider of the year in Asia Pacific. Concurrently, he was also conferred the icons of healthcare leading, healthcare management professional of the year. With 30 years tenure in both public and private practice, he brings to this role his operational and medical knowledge. He formerly held the positions of CEO of Gleneagles hospital from 2000 to 2006 and as medical affairs, senior executive across pharmaceutical and medical device industries at Covidien, Schering plough, Covance and Glaxo Wellcome, spanning more than 17 years.
