Biography

Henri Perrin holds a PhD in process engineering from the Arts et Metiers Paris-Tech. He began his career as R&D Project leader then as R&D manager in a french technical centre dedicated to Composite manufacturing technologies and led a joint lab on reactive thermoplastics composite manufacturing process. He developed a welding process by co-consolidation (flying parts on A350), succeptorless continuous induction welding. Since 2017, he develops at LIST and in the frame of the NCC-L the structural composite manufacturing and assembly activities and became recently Composite Platform leader. He is the principal investigator of two national funded projects in partnership with new Luxembourg based companies and Project Coordinator of an H2020 Clean sky project on metallization of composite for lightning strike protection. He is co-inventors of 12 patents.
