Biography
Sharon Mugayi is a young medical practitioner who recently finished her MBBS degree. She is interested in health awareness and her dream is to ensure high standards of healthcare are achieved not just in her country Zimbabwe, but globally. She has been involved in many workshops and some of them were in Partnership with International Medicine (PrIMe), IFMSA exchange programmes in medicine. She was also Founding President for Zimbabwe Medical Students Association (ZIMSA) which represented medical students and the aim of the organisation was to facilitate and capacitate the training and development of globally competent, socially responsible medical students capable of providing effective leadership in an environment that promotes and strives for academic excellence. She was also Vice President at the Zimbabwe Health Students Network (ZIMHSN) aimed to enhance the community around through charity talks and workshops.
Research Interest
General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Paediatric and Obstetrics/Gynecology cases, venepuncture, cannulation, trans-urethral catheterisation.
