Biography

Dr. Angel Molina Leon is a clinical Neurophysiology. He was in charge of evaluating patients with various sleep disorders particularly; apnoea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, REM nightmares, night-terrors, sleep paralysis, nocturnal epilepsy (55 of these patients suffer from chronic insomnia and are part of my research project), hypersomnia (2 publications) with the evaluation of more than 500 patients a year and 150 night polysomnographies a year.( Technical handling, recording and analysis). The technical handling and analysis of Multimodal evoked potentials (somatosensory, visual electroretinogram and trunk audiometry). While working at the Clinical Neurophysiology Service at the Toledo Hospital Complex I undertook a three-month July 2005- JULY de 2015, 10 YEARS professional experience in the Neurophysiology Clinic in the Private Medical Centre Virgen de la Caridad, in Cartagena, Murcia, Spain which works in conjunction with the Social Security hospitals, (Santa Maria del Rosell Hospital, Naval Hospital in Cartagena, and los Arcos Hospital in Santiago de la Ribera). During the last seven years in this Centre my work related to: 9 EEG. electroencephalography /week 45 EMG. electromyography/ week 1-2 PEAT evoked potential / week 20 PSGN polysomnography /week. Professional experience: Experience in the analysis of- electroencephalography ( young children and adults) and also: -polysomnography (System Medelec Profile y Medelec Synergy- Oxford. Keypoint Medtronic System (EMG). -Electromyography - Practical experience with analysis system PUM and sensory and motor conduction and also in electromyography. Medelec Synergy and Keypoint .-Oxford.
