Biography

Dr. Juan C. Chiaradio graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Cuyo . Head of neurosurgery at the Cardiovascular Institute of Buenos Aires Obtaining 8 medical awards. Foreign Member of the AANS American Association of Neurological Surgeons until 2012 . Founding Member of the Society of Neurological Surgeons of the Southern Cone. More than 90 papers presented at congresses of the specialty nationally and internationally. He performed the first successful surgery in Latin America for a giant aneurysm with cardiorespiratory arrest and deep hypothermia at the Cardiovascular Institute of Buenos Aires. He made the first placement in the world of a graftstent for the treatment of a dissecting aneurysm of the vertebral artery, work published in the journal Neurosurgery.
