Biography

Ivan V. Maksimovich, MD, PhD, professor, who at the present time is an Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical and Technical Sciences, is a member of the Russian Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons, the Russian Scientific Society of Specialists in Endovascular Diagnosis and Treatment, the All-Russian Scientific Society of Interventional Radiologists and Endovascular Surgeons, the Alzheimer's Association International Society for Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment (ISTAART), European Society of Cardiology (ESC), European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), World Stroke Organization (WSO), European Stroke Organization (ESO) and European Psychiatric Association (EPA). Ivan V. Maksimovich graduated from the 1st Moscow Medical Institute named after I.M. Sechenov (Moscow, Russia) in 1979 specializing in cardiovascular surgery. After the graduation he worked in leading research institutes and clinics of the country.
