Dr Philip Beer is a physician scientist and precision oncology specialist who operates across the commercial, academic and healthcare sectors. Philip holds diverse positions united by the singular goal of leveraging genomic technologies to improve outcomes for cancer patients. Current roles include work as a molecular and cellular pathologist at a flagship UK National Health Service diagnostic unit, clinical support for a leading commercial provider of cancer genomic analysis, translation support for early clinical stage oncology drug development in the pharmaceutical sector, and involvement in academic research projects encompassing early phase clinical trials and functional cancer modelling.
