Biography

Dr. Ashish Anand, M.D, Orthopedic Surgeon is appointed sinse June, 2016 Faculty as Asst. Clinical Prof (Adj) William Carey College of Osteopathic Medicine and Aug, 2015 appointed Asst. Clinical Prof (Adj), Dept of Orthopedic Surgery, Univ. of Mississippi Medical center, Jackson, MS, USA,. He has got his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Sports Medicine, Hahnemann Hospital, Philadelphia, USA (2007), Doctoral Degree in M.S in Orthopedics Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University 2000, DNB (Diplomat in National Board) in Board Certified in Orthopedics (2001) and completed his M.B.B.S degree from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University, India (1996). He has Research experience in role of Amniofix in treatment of Osteoarthritis and Partial Rotator Cuff tears. Amniofix is being used in cases where traditional modalities have not worked and patient is not keen for surgery. I am currently drafting a study for IRB approval to collect data so as to evaluate efficacy of Amniofix. His professional Society Memberships are American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Indian Orthopedic Association, Indian Arthroplasty Association, Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons and Indian Arthroscopic Society. His teaching Experience include As Orthopedics and Physiotherapy Consultant Fortis Hospitals, Bangalore and as a Clinical Instructor/Registrar at LHMC Delhi, India. He has Honored and awardedas recipient of the SICOT Indian Orthopaedic Association travelling fellowship for 2008.
