Biography

Dr. Ghulam Md Ashraf is currently working as Associate Professor at King Fahd Medical Research Center, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Ashraf received his graduation, master's and doctorate degree from Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Life Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, India in 2010. His current research work focuses primarily on the investigation of protein biomarkers in cerebrospinal fluid and serum of neurological disorders. He is also interested in exploring the inherent connection of neurological disorders with other chronic diseases like cancer and diabetes by using proteomics and nanotechnological tools. Dr. Ashraf has published 160 research manuscripts in books and journals of international repute. Dr. Ashraf is involved in editorial capacity in many internationally reputed journals like Frontiers in Neuroscience, Scientific Reports, Protein & Peptide Letters and Journal of Proteomics, to mention a few.


Research Interest
