Biography

Hassan Bibi was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1966. He attended Beirut University College (known as Lebanese American University) majoring in Chemistry. Hassan joined Janssen Pharmaceutical as Medical Representative, he was steadily promoted, and became Regional Regulatory Affairs Director of established products for EMEA, a Director of special projects, and helped Janssen to introduce new products to help patients in accessing new products and therapies. Hassan received multiple awards and leadership recognition in terms of business intuition achieving a high level of leadership and professionalism through his 22 years spent at JNJ (Janssen pharmaceutical companies). Afterwards,Hassan joined Merck where in a short time he was able to establish the Governmental Affairs and Market Access Department; successfully, he was also able to sign partnership with a number of ministries throughout his career focusing on awareness and shaping policies for the good and wellbeing of patients in the region. Hassan was indeed handling multiple positions at the same time leading him to receive a reward as the most inspired employee in 2017. With 25 years of experience in the International Pharmaceutical Companies, Hassan's expertise enabled him to be an active member in the pharma world. His experience in different functions with regional responsibilities, played a major role in helping him to establish and lead multiple local pharma regulatory groups (ex. Levant Regulatory Group, I.R.A.N Network, Middle East Network). It entitled him throughout his career to hold a very effective approach with diverse Ministry of Health. Thus, working alongside major decision makers and influencers in the world of Health, such as Ministers of Health, Ministers of Trade and Economics, Ministers of Interior in GCC, Levant, North Africa and Africa. He was also part of many Global Health Initiative campaign movements sponsored by top performers and inspiring leaders such as former Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, US president Bill Clinton and Queen Rania of Jordan. In 2013, as part of his continuous education element, Hassan joined an MBA program majoring on "leadership and sustainability" A joint program between UOC (University of Cumbria) and RKC (Robert Kennedy College).He also served as an Organizing Committee Member and speaker coach for DIA Middle East, Health Insight, Quality and Compliance, BPG, Quality and Compliance Committees and Counterfeit Africa Association.
