Dr. Stefania Costa graduated in Medical-Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the University of Ferrara in 2009, and subsequently obtained the title of PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2014 at the same University. Since 2010 she has been a research fellow at the Department of Life Sciences and Biotechnology of the University of Ferrara in the scientific disciplinary sector of fermentations chemistry. To date, she is a lecturer in the Chemistry of Fermentation of the Degree in Biotechnology at the University of Ferrara. Her research activity is focused in the field of fermentation and biotransformation's using whole cells or enzymes. She also deals with the development of NIR applications in the agro-food field aimed at industrial application
