Biography

Raafat Abd El-Gawad El-Gharieb EL-Awady currently working as a professor of Pharmacology and Chairman, Department of Pharmacy Practice & Pharmacotherapeutics and Professor of Pharmacology, College of Pharmacy, Sharjah University, UAE. He completed his PhD in Hamburg University in 2000. He publishes more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed journals. His research interest are Pharmacogenomics and individualized cancer therapy, Regulation of cell cycle checkpoints and DNA repair after cancer chemotherapy, Induction and repair of DNA damage in mammalian cells, Mechanisms of resistance to cancer therapy.
