Biography

Shihai Xing is a distinguished professor of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine & Anhui Academy of Chinese Medicine, who is born in August 1977. He received his Ph. D degree in plant molecular biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University In January 2012, and his research is focused in transgenic research in Catharanthus roseus L. After he finished his Ph. D job, he entered in the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a post-doctoral and engaged in the research of Artemisinin specific synthesis in Artemisia annua L. During November 2014 to May 2017 he worked in Biochemistry department of Mississippi State University as a postdoctoral and research fellow, and majored in comparative proteomics and posttranslational modification of rice protein in starch biosynthesis pathway and its nutritional utilization of bran metabolites in food industry. From July 2017 he joined Anhui University of Chinese Medicine & Anhui Academy of Chinese Medicine and majored in Molecular Pharmacognosy and Biotechnology Pharmacy. Now, he is Dean of Research Center of Pharmacy of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
