Biography

Dr. Somnath D. Bhinge has completed his graduation in 2004 and post graduation in 2006 from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He obtained Ph. D. on topic entitled “Bioanalytical Method Development of Pharmacotherapeutic Agents” from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He has 12 years experience of teaching and research in Pharmacy. He has guided couple of student for M. Pharm Dissertation and B. Pharm Project. He has 43 original research publications in various international and national reputed journals. He has filled 3 indian patents. His most of research articles are widely used and have had significant impact. His major areas of research are synthesis of organic compounds, development and standardization of herbal drug formulations, analytical and bioanalytical method development, Ayurvedic formulations, nanotechnology etc. His project has been funded by Shivaji University, Kolhapur and Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore, Karnataka and also getting travel grant from Science and Engineering Research Board, Delhi and shivaji university, Kolhapur to attend international conference. He is the nominee member of The Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), India. He is a member of The Indian Science Congress Association, India. He is registered as a Ph. D. supervisor in many reputed universities. And also been resource person for various student and faculty development programmes. He is examiner to many universities. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Kasegaon Education Society’s, Rajarambapu College of Pharmacy, Kasegaon (Sangli), Maharashtra. He is working as a Chief editor on Journal of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Chemical Science- allied academics– USA and working as an editorial board member on Journal of Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacotherapeutics – Gavin Publisher. Also reviewer for many esteemed and indexed journal.
