Biography

Ten years of national development experience encompassing program monitoring, evaluation, and management of knowledge systems and implementation progress. I have a proven and extensive experience in designing and implementing practical Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and knowledge management platforms for projects. I am also able to lead and coordinate M&E activities in a large portfolio of projects and programs, including implementing and enriching program impact measurement system. I am skilled at design, planning, coordination, analysis, and dissemination of various national surveys and censuses including baseline, mid-term and final evaluations for projects/program, and is well versed in leading and promoting reflective practices, documentation of lessons, and best practices, and proper dissemination of acquired institutional knowledge to project staff, donors and other stakeholders. I am experienced in the application of Statistical softwares (SPSS, epidata, epi info) for Monitoring and Evaluation and conducting case studies, success stories, and Data Quality Assessments.Currently working as Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation regional director at Federal Ministry of health Ethiopia. I have Master of Science in Health M&E, 4.00. Prior being Regional M&E director, I was a Health science lecturer at Harar Health Science College and worked as hospital Quality manager at German leprosy Relief Association(GLRA) founded, Bisidimo Hospital.
