Biography

Seyed Hamed Mahdaviani received his B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering-Petrochemical Industries from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Tehran, Iran in September 2006 and his M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering-Thermodynamics & Kinetics from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran in April 2010. He has many publications including 15 high quality peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals and international conferences, a book chapter, an Iran patent (commercialized) and several research and technical reports. He has received several honors and awards for his outstanding efforts in his research works. In December 2015, he was selected as the first person of superior industrialist and distinguished researcher in the Festival of Research & Technology of Oil Industry in Tehran, Iran. He has been invited to the several reputed international conferences as a keynote speaker. He has received certificate of reviewing from Elsevier in recognition of the review made for Applied Catalysis A: General in March 2016. He has joined to Archives of Petroleum and Environmental Biotechnology as a member of Editorial Board of the Journal and received the certificate of membership from Gavin Publishers (USA) in February 2018. He also is member of Technical Program Committee of 7th Global Conference on Materials Science and Engineering (CMSE 2018).

Research Interest

His research interests focus on Ethylene Oligomerization Catalysis, Industrial Catalysts, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Optimization of Chemical Processes, Design of Experimental Methods (Taguchi, RSM).
