Biography

Dr. Ferguson is Assistant Director of Paediatric Dentistry, Interfaith Medical Center Brooklyn New York. Dr. Fred Ferguson, Distinguished Teaching Professor Emeritus, built a 42-year career (1975-2017) as a health educator at the School of Dental Medicine, Stony Brook University and was also Associate Professor, Department of Paediatric Medicine. During his career, Ferguson developed oral health programs for children with HIV infection, chronic health problems, and craniofacial deformities. Dr. Ferguson also authored innovative programs for special needs at Stony Brook and maintained an active practice. Dr. Ferguson is a highly sought after speaker who has regularly presented to professional, consumer, and community groups. Ferguson has also consulted on healthcare with hospitals, organizations, and corporations. Dr. Ferguson has published articles and co-authored two book chapters. Dr. Ferguson is President/CEO and founder of Health Migration Consulting Inc. and ABOUTSMILESWORLD LTD which are focused on improving the quality of care and reducing cost through consumer accountability, Stakeholder collaboration, and organization integration.
