Biography

PROF. DR. KARL WAGNER took his Ph.D. at the Faculty of Economy and Business at University of Munster in 1991. He spent three years as general manager in industry and worked as Professor and consultant at the University of Applied Sciences Rosenheim / Germany. Since 1998, Prof. Wagner has received wide international exposure and reputation in management and green technology, especially in Malaysia and Singapore. Since 2009, starting out as project leader of the German-Malaysian Master in Green Building Technology, he has conducted ground-breaking research for sustainable tropical housing and the first countrywide geothermal research with geophysics from University Saints Malaysia. Since March 2012, due to his commitment to curb global warming, he is working on green research projects in housing and renewable energies. Recently, he published the first book on tropical adapted passive houses for residential areas, and chaired the 5th global conference for Zero Energy Customised Homes (ZEMCH).
