Biography

Dr. Liwei Zhang,is Professor, Member of Thousand Talent Program for Young Outstanding Scientists ,State Key Laboratory of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences . His reseach experience are as Professor, Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, ORISE Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Research & Innovation Center, National Energy Technology Laboratory, U.S. Department of Energy, Graduate Research Assistant, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Carnegie Mellon University, Research Assistant, Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Duke University, Undergraduate Research Assistant, Environmental Engineering Department, Harbin Institute of Technology. His recent Professional Service is as Vice Chair, Environmental & Water Resources Institute (EWRI) Pittsburgh Chapter in June 2016-February 2017. In recent years, he has been actively involved with several research projects He has published over many papers in professional journals.
