Biography

Dr. Minxue He is a member of the Climate Change Program of California Department of Water Resources (CA-DWR; http://www.water.ca.gov/climatechange/). His work focuses on climate risk assessment and climate change impacts on hydro-climatic extreme events as well as water resources and water systems. He holds a Ph.D. degree in water resources with a minor in atmospheric science from University of California, Los Angeles. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and Texas. He publishes extensively in the area of water resources and climate. He also serves as an Associate Editor for American Geophysical Union journal Water Resources Research. Before joining CA-DWR, he was the head of the Hydrology and Hydraulics Team in a consulting company. He also worked for United States (U.S.) National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration where he helped in developing the first-ever operational Hydrologic Ensemble Forecasting System in the U.S.
