Biography

Tianjie Lei has his expertise in disaster emergency management, monitoring and evaluation and hydrological ecology (water-carbon cycle of ecosystem). Many high level papers have been published in international journals, and reference rate is nearly 400 times. Representative papers such as “A new framework for evaluating the impacts of drought on net primary productivity of grassland(Science of the Total Environment)” and “Drought and carbon cycling of grassland ecosystems under global change: a review(Water)”, are masterpieces in the research field of water science, technology, management and governance. Winning 2016-2017 science and technology innovation fund project of remote sensing the youth talents (only 20 persons in China), the national surveying and mapping science and technology progress prize, outstanding graduates of Beijing normal university, and National Scholarship. Participated in many international academic exchanges, and made keynote speeches. The Journal reviewers of "International Journal of Remote Sensing", "Journal of Hydrology", "Water", and "the Science of the Total Environment”.
