Biography

She is a food engineer from the University of Córdoba, with a Master's degree in Science and Food Technology from the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil) and is a candidate for Doctor of Science and Food Technology from the same University. She is currently a full time professor and researcher in the Department of Food Engineering at the University of Córdoba. Among its lines of research is the biocontrol of pathogenic bacteria of interest to the food industry making use of bacteriophages, as well as the genomic and proteomic characterization of bacteriophages and their possible applications in the food industry and the determination of new antimicrobial substances of natural origin. It has varied publications between articles published in indexed international journals and chapters of books.
