Biography

Dr. DRAME Harouna is a Research and Development Chemist in Materials Science and dedicated to Chemistry Innovations Management and Technology Transfer worldwide for the wealth of the whole society. He has served as an Educator, Research Assistant, Principal Research Scientist and Consultant, in universities, industries and governmental institution. He holds a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Abidjan University (Abidjan, Ivory Coast), a Master degree in Chemical Engineering from Laval University (Québec, Canada) and a PhD in Chemistry of Ottawa University (ON., Canada). He is a founder of dh_Consultancy a Research and Development and Technology Transfer network.

Research Interest

The design and synthesis of new inorganic substrate, organo-mineral material, with potential applications in catalysis and material science. Synthesis of zeotype materials with an emphasis on their applications, in catalysis and in separation processes. Study of Clay- polymer and clay -surfactant binding phenomena and their applications; Solubilization and adsorption at the solid liquid interface; Phase separation and gel formation in concentrated clay-polymer and clay-surfactant system; Aggregation phenomena in aqueous and polymer system. Valorization of industrial by-products as pozzolans in concrete or as asdorbents. Micro and nanostructural characterization of cement and cementitious hydration products.
