Biography

Julian Gillmore gained his medical degree at University of London and was recently appointed Professor of Medicine at University College London. He trained in nephrology and undertook MD and PhD degrees in the field of amyloidosis. His research interests include pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of amyloidosis. He has published more than 250 articles in journals and international conference proceedings, has supervised a number of students through their research degrees, and holds several grants.
